Meaning, policies change suddenly and with no notice and it was always a chaotic situation that was never helpful. The people in the FCs hated the HR people, because shit was slow and guidelines kept changing; the HR people were always frustrated that folks in the FCs didn't provide the documentation they needed. Etc. It's a toxic environment. The only way someone has a generally positive experience at Amazon is if they got lucky and didn't get strapped with actually having to deal with a problem.
