For AMD's sake I hope these are good cards but man their marketing is really pulling some typical bullshit. Nvidia fell into this trap of advertising "8k gaming" a couple years ago and here AMD is doing the same thing, only when they say "8K ultrawide" they actually mean "8K ultrawide" which is half the pixels of 8K, going by their slide footnotes. That's just plain disingenuous. Not only that but they didn't really provide details on what they meant by a game running with FSR; what quality level, what version of FSR? We also barely got anything of substance on FSR3 which I'm very curious about considering FSR2 is seeming to be worse than both DLSS and Intel XeSS (from what I've seen) and I seriously hope they improve it moving forward. If there's a single thing holding me back from getting AMD, it's features like that and their RT performance which are just plain better with Nvidia, meaning I'm spending a lot more on my builds when I'd rather use AMD's prices. Ah well. Waiting for benchmarks yet again. Hope it's a good value as it looks like a marked improvement, but time will tell if it's enough. More on reddit.com
