GUI to control and monitor your AMD GPU in Linux with AMDGPU/AMDGPUPRO Drivers
Hi, As far as I know, AMD do not provide a GUI on Linux for my R9 Fury X/Fury/Nano Cards on Ubuntu 16.04LTS. I have asked when one will be available but I get no answer. Does anyone know of a good working GUI solution to control and monitor my AMD cards? Thanks. More on forum.level1techs.com

AMD GPU where is the control panel?
Only Nvidia has a (very limited) control panel on Linux, for Intel and AMD you'll generally only find third party tools to control the clock speed and fan speeds No GPU maker on Linux offers the ability to force AA/Vsync in games, as for FSR I believe it can be applied on game-by-game basis through Lutris More on reddit.com

LACT Is The Newest AMD Radeon GUI Control Panel For Linux
Finally, a GUI control panel, I'm sick of doing this stuff in terminal. Really wish we got something as fully featured as Adrenalin is though, would be a game changer for Linux. More on reddit.com

r/linux_gaming on Reddit: A fantastic AMD GPU GUI software for Linux: CoreCtrl
April 11, 2020 -

I'm making this post since finding this specific software was extremely hard. I kept searching for an AMD GPU GUI for Linux and only kept running into WattmanGTK and Radeon-Profile. While both are probably great. I could not for god's sake install them properly. Now, I'm just another Linux noob who prefers to not to be in contact with terminal and unfortunately those two mentioned tools (WattmanGTK and Radeon-Profile) both required using terminal in ways that... didn't make sense to me?

I kept digging and digging to find a GUI software and somehow with great damn luck ran into CoreCtrl. Not only was this thing damn easy to install. IT WORKS! It also looks like the Windows AMD program... except maybe a bit better? Only things I find it missing is voltage control. But anyhow, I can control my fan speeds and my clock speeds, that's almost all I want but surely enough for my needs.

This software seems like it is super unknown in the Linux world and I want to try and bring it out to people.

May 28, 2026 - Using this section, you can enable features and tweak the driver settings, see amdgpu(4) first before setting driver options. TearFree controls tearing prevention using the hardware page flipping mechanism. By default, TearFree will be on for rotated outputs, outputs with RandR transforms applied, and for RandR 1.4 slave outputs, and off for everything else.

AMD GPU GUI Settings? - Linux Mint Forums
Unfortunately, AMD doesn't make nice GUI interfaces to expose more detailed options or hooks and neither is that available in linux desktops to a very satisfying degree. Thus you need to use other tools that can access hardware sensors etc. such as psensor mentioned above. There are other ways to overclock etc via manual file editing but not my expertise. AMD does make AMDGPU-PRO available for newer hardware that you can download, compile, install yourself.

CoreCtrl: A Radeon Settings Alternative For Linux โ€“ Techgage
August 22, 2019 - Itโ€™s great to see just how similar the layout in CoreCtrl is to the real Radeon Settings panel in Windows. It even allows you to customize on a per-app and per-game basis, which is a seriously useful feature. That even includes Windows games, likely run through Proton or some other solution. Naturally, one of the most common requests has also made it in: robust fan control.
