I have no idea what "options" you're referring to but there is no download required. The Analysis ToolPak [as well as Solver] is included but does need to be activated. The installation is simple. Go go Tools> Excel Add-ins in the main menu (or click the Analysis Tools tool on the Data tab of the Ribbon or the Excel Add-Ins tool on the Developer tab) then check the box & click OK.
You may need to restart Excel but the Analysis ToolPak functions will then be available from both Tools> Data Analysis as well as by way of the Data Analysis tool on the Data tab of the Ribbon.

Whenever I click on "options" where add ins is supposed to be the only thing that pops up is an option for regional format settings. I tried to look up other ways to download it and everything says the same thing but it doesn't work. More on learn.microsoft.com

I did use it but as other users said, compared to what R or Python can do, it is a joke. Excel Data Analysis Toolpack doesn't take much time to learn and can be used for something quick though (regression, basic stats analysis, etc). More on reddit.com

Hey, I need to activate the Data Analysis Toolpak and Data Analysis Toolpak-VBA for school. I have the office 2024 version on my Mac and I can't find the Data Analysis Toolpak-VBA. I do have the Data Analysis Toolpak but the VBA which is supposed to be right below as an add in isn't there.
I do have the Visual Basic Book thing but I'm wondering if that's the same or do I need something else?

In the "365" version of Microsoft Excel for Mac, I can go to the Tools menu and select Excel Add-Ins. I can then select Analysis TookPak, which activates.
