For a grinder, going brushless is definitely worth it. I have a DCG416 (one of the discontinued FlexVolt Advantage models), and although it bogs down a bit if you lean on it too much and goes through batteries like nothing else, it's given me several years of occasionally heavy use without an issue. Hey dude. I got the brushless model and I honestly can’t fault it. Bought it to refurbish a boat trailer. But since that I’ve managed to re grout a huge patio with a stone cutting disk. Cut countless bit of bar and flap rust off numerous things. I’d always go brushless.
