This is the thing… all these websites say “don’t spend $100 on Apple’s version because it has significantly less milliamp hours than competitors for half the price” - yeah, well they charge slower… and you’re just burning through that bigger battery when the smaller official one will charge your iPhone way faster. These tech reviewers don’t understand technology and persuade people like you to make mistakes. Return them and get the Apple one if you want MagSafe wireless charging. More on reddit.com

Hello, I am a long anker user. I recently purchased two 321 mago MagSafe battery packs and they suck.
They get extremely hot and I’ve noticed now that they are not really charging my phone even though it says the phone is charging.
The reviews on some of their latest power banks have not been kind. I’m convinced they removed the new 20,000 and 12,000 mah prime batteries because of similar issues.
Shockingly, the 27,000 mah prime battery has only two reviews on Amazon unless I am missing something.
This is all a roundabout way of saying that my faith in the company is shaken.
Can anyone recommend a MagSafe battery pack and a 20000mah power bank with usb c that is reliable?
I think anker switched battery vendors because up until now, I’ve never had a problem.

I’ve made the switch to ESR MagSafe Battery Packs (both 5000 and 1000mah versions) after having one of Anker’s 5000mah MagSafe packs. Unlike Anker’s packs, ESR doesn’t get unsafely hot, just warm. Probably helps that ESR’s stand doesn’t cover an entire side of the battery when not in use unlike Anker.

I just picked up this at Best Buy for $40. It’s listed as the “322 Mag Go” Model - A1618 but I can’t find anything on it online. Is it old? Is it new? It seems like it’s an older model of what became the 622?

Kudos to you and shame on those who took the time be rude, had they taken that time to do a little research they'd have seen how right you were and how dumb their comment will look, forever tied to their annoying like virtual personas. It's not BDE if you're stuck in BFE. Alas, you're totally right -- and I don't have much to add besides that. I wonder if it wasn't some sort of retail specific version of the 321 they've been playing around with, since Amazon clearly doesn't have this version, which, with a stand clearly commands a few extra bucks. I can't believe I missed this when I was in Best Buy this afternoon, picking up another Anker product ; one I anticipate will soon enough be on Amazon.
