At least I assume it has PPS, because Amazon states it does, and other places reviewing it state that it does. But Anker's official page about it doesn't.
Since the page about the Anker 711 Charger (Nano II 30W) (both types) does, and specifically claims
PPS: 3.3-11.0V=3.0A Max (30W Max) 3.3-16.0V=2.0A Max (30W Max)
What is the difference? Does the 511 Nano 3 30W support PPS too? Does it support it with the same specs as the 711 Nano 2 30W, or where can I find its actual specs? Is there any reason I should choose one over the other, aside from price?
I found a prior answer that states that the Nano 3 is smaller and "features ActiveShield 2.0 temperature monitoring and adjusts power as necessary to prevent overheating". Does this mean that this technology enables it to be smaller without blowing up? Would I be just as safe or safer going for the Nano 2, if size is not an issue for me?
Sorry for highlighting you u/jazzfog but since when dissecting the differences between the two Nano 2 model numbers you said "These are from different product lines lines, what's the difference between these two is, probably a topic for an another post", could you... make that post now? ;-) Or at least explain briefly about these specific variants? Does the 511 30W have PPS, does its PPS feature the same specs as the 711 30W, does it have better overheating protection?
