Overall I really want to like this dock but not being able to just remove my phone one handed is kind of a deal breaker for me for a wireless charging dock. If I just go and grab my phone one handed the entire dock comes with it due to the strength of the magnets.
I would add some tape or something to the bottom but that’s where the vents are. I think I’m going to be returning this and wait for a different design to come out.
I just bought the Anker MagGo 3-in-1 portable travel station (qi2 charging) which provides 15W of wireless charging. If I have AOD on and/or use nightstand mode (landscape), it will not charge (it just keeps the charging percentage the same, so I’m not losing charge at least). If I turn AOD off and put it on this wireless charger, then it does start to ever so slowly charge the phone. Is this normal? The thing is, I really want to use AOD on the 16 Pro so I can see the clock, etc. while sleeping (especially for when I’m traveling). I don’t want to wake up in the morning and see that my phone didn’t charge at all, so I’m very concerned with this accessory. I also want to use AOD and/or nightstand mode (landscape) when charging with this thing during the day but it won’t advance the charging percentage.
Furthermore, last night with AOD on, I woke up and the charge only went to 63% and then stopped the rest of the night. I see a light green shading above 63% to 100% - what does that mean?
Should I return this thing? How do people successfully use this accessory to get a 100% charge when waking up in the morning? Thanks.
