So I experimented again yesterday. If your phone is 100% and you put this 5k on your phone, it will remain at 100% w/o shutting off and it won’t be as hot. But if you put this when your phone is like 50% or so, it gets hot. One time it stops charging and a notification pops up that it has to be turned off due to excessive heat. More on reddit.com

I have 2 of the original MagSafe battery packs. They don’t function as great as chargers (though they will do it), as opposed to do fantastic as battery extenders. So if I have a long day (skiing, hiking, adventuring), I thought it on in the morning and it’s perfect all day, making sure I still have some power when I get home So it depends on what you need from it? Something slim, non-intrusive, that extends your battery? It should be perfect. Something to charge your phone, and lasts for days? It’s a bit small for that More on reddit.com

Thinking of getting a magsafe powerbank and came across this one. I’m looking for a thin and light preferably 5k or lower power bank, was wondering if the new qi2 5k slim from anker is worth it.
If anyone has experience with this anker one, was this any good/worth the price? Does it wirelessly charge at 15W, gets super hot? How does it compare to other similar magsafe batteries?
Open to other recommendations, I’m prioritising lightness, could be more compact but thicker, Qi2 is a plus but don’t want anything that runs super hot.
