I’m considering buying the Anker MagGo Power Bank (10,000mAh) with MagSafe and Qi2 certification. I like the idea of the foldable stand and the smart display, but I’d love to hear real user experiences before making a decision. • How’s the battery life and charging speed? • Does the MagSafe connection hold well, especially on the go? • Any heating issues or other downsides? • Would you recommend it over other MagSafe power banks?

Anker have recently launched their new MagGo accessories (probably for the new iPhone launch) and I have just received the new slim version of the Anker MagGo Powerbank (10K) and I absolutely love it!

I used the previous one (with the screen and stand) and even had the Belkin BoostCharge Pro with the stand, and both were just too heavy and big, and the stand in particular was something I never got round to using, and it made the phone feel less secure when placed on the table (especially the Anker one, as the stand 'sticks out').

The new one may not be that much thinner on paper, but it feels so much better/thinner/more compact, and when you put it on the table, the phone doesn't wobble around anymore! And it still has the same 10K of capacity (5Vdc: 6400 mAh compared to 5Vdc: 6200 mAh with the previous one).

I'll be testing it out this weekend, I really hope they've solved the heating issues so it doesn't get as bloody hot as the old one. Of course it does get warm, but the old one got so hot so quickly that it often stopped charging the phone minutes after I put it on.
