August 26, 2024 - Another interesting point that I think speaks to the fact that these are perfectly reasonable regulations is the proposed protection of whistleblowers. This is something, for example, that would have no impact on the opensource community, but would only serve to limit the power of Anthropic, for example (as well as OpenAI, Microsoft, Google, etc).
