Why not Python? Code will always be superior to any tool, plus you can make use of a data dictionary you make and maintain to generate code from. I coded my generators in SQL. To build all the mappings for source to stage in Python. Then generated code for the Sprocs from staging to the next layer. In a database, everything is data. More on reddit.com

While I've searched through some reddit pages and a few articles online, I found out that 'Apache Seatunnel' has been graduated to Apache's TLP (Top Level Project) this year.
And I've read a few documents and blog pages about 'Apache Seatunnel', and I found it very interesting and pretty worth to try.
Our team has been using 'Airbyte' which is running on EC2. And we are about to move it to kubernetes cluster, because the ec2 memory and cpu usage have been frequently reached to the limit.
And at this point, I think we can use 'Apache Seatunnel' on k8s, instead of moving 'Airbyte' from EC2 to k8s.
Though it's a Top Level Project, There's not much information about 'running apache seatunnel on production environment' in the web.
For someone who have used, have done using, think about using or heard about 'the project',
Is it really a nicer tool to integrate lots of data sources than current projects like 'Airbyte', 'NiFi' or 'Fivetran'? What would be the downside of this project?

Much like DolphinScheduler, it's come out of China so that's where the userbase is, which likely explains why we never hear about them. I watched a bunch of podcasts on both. I'm not convinced there's a big need to use either. From memory, it's just an abstraction layer over Spark/Flink to do the first step of the ELT pipeline. I can't remember how far SeaTunnel goes on the low code spectrum...
