Sometimes i have apps that are older versions, but works perfectly and i love that version. however, sometimes i update them by accident or intentionally just to see how the new update is like, and most of the time, the new updates changes the UI and other stuff that makes the app sucks. But then i find myself unable to revert back to the previous version of the app. IS there any way to do this. automatically revert back to a previous version on an apk before the update?
I know another way is to download an apk of the older version and install that, but there is issues with this: 1) when i update sometimes by accident or intentionally, i forget to check what version of an app i had before, so i don't know which version to redownload 2) sometimes to install the older version of an apk, you have to uninstall the new version and this causes data to be lost. For example, i updated my chrome mobile and the new version sucks so bad, i downloaded an older version, but uninstalling chrome and reinstalling the old version caused all my tabs and data to be lost.
Anyone knows a good way to revert back to an older version of an app easily after an update?

I solved this by creating an app backup routine with Tasker. Every time I install an app or an update it saves the respective apk file and pushes the previous version into a backup folder. If there is an even older version in that backup folder it will be deleted automatically. This works pretty good.
