From 9to5mac: After releasing a major update to TestFlight last month, Apple is now updating App Store Connect for iOS with a new interface as well as many new features – including more detailed notifications and more ways to promote apps. Read on as we break down what’s changed in App Store Connect. What’s new with App Store Connect 2.0 For those unfamiliar, App Store Connect is the platform where developers can manage their apps available for Apple platforms such as iOS and watchOS. Version 2.0 of App Store Connect for iPhone and iPad introduces a new, more modern interface, but the changes go beyond that. The update also comes with many new features that will help developers better manage their apps right from their iOS devices. For example, developers can now choose to receive notifications when an app is highlighted by Apple in places like the Today tab or as App of the Day. There’s also the option to filter notifications for user reviews based on star ratings, such as only receiving a notification when someone submits a 1-star review. In addition, Apple is introducing a new way for developers to promote their apps by generating marketing assets for key moments, such as when a new app or update is approved in the App Store. App Store Connect will generate images ready to be shared on social networks such as Instagram. after adding the admin key, i'm stuck at the "ready to go" screen. the "Let's go" button does nothing. also that "remember me" checkbox is supposed to be a joke? EDIT: restarting the app fixed the screen stuck issue EDIT 2: the app asks me to get another app to upload screenshots, that app is also $150 for a lifetime license. so $300 so far to avoid appstore connect EDIT 3: a lot of missing functionality, from price changing to access to subscriptions and others. it has potential but it's still a work in progress. and if you need to access appstore connect for a lot of stuff, just access it for everything good luck! Hey all,
Meet Helm for App Store Connect.
a few months ago I was so sick of having to login to App Store Connect for the hundredth time that I decided to start working on a macOS app that would help me update my apps more easily.
I knew there were a few alternatives but none of which I really enjoyed using. After spending a day getting a POC ready, I quite quickly noticed that the App Store Connect API is tough! It's not very straight forward and a lot of the content or functionality has to be requested with a lot of nesting.
I quickly asked a good friend of mine, Pol Piella, to help me with this, and that's where the magic started. He focused on getting the data right while I continued on the UI and product side. Pol also wrote a lot of articles about how we handled some of the data.
After a few months and a successful beta we decided it was time to launch…
It was the most difficult submission I've ever done, We were stuck in review for more than 3 weeks(!!) after a couple of rejections with questions about the app, it turned out it was escalated to the legal department as they wanted to make sure we provided more than just an App Store Connect wrapper.
Luckily we do, as the app provides easy translations with AI, ASO advice, and easy text improvements
So I'm happy to tell you that from now on you can use Helm for App Store Connect.
Lessons learned: Provide as much information as possible for the App Review team so that they can clearly understand your app; don't assume they'll see it. And don't be afraid to ask friends for help and do projects together.

I've been using it to submit two smaller releases already, worked like a charm! Especially that auto translation of the release notes in the different languages. Did the same thing before with DeepL, but it always took forever because switching languages on the ASC website just is so painfully slow. So a very lovely to my workflow, thank you!
