I am currently a student who uses an iPad and a computer. I want to buy a MacBook M3. The prices on amazon/best buy feel very convincing currently at $850 for a new MacBook Air M3 with Black Friday sales. I have time to buy this laptop because I'm in no rush. I was thinking to wait for the MacBook M4s to drop to get a possible price reduction for the ones with the M3 chip. Should I buy it now with Black Friday Savings or do I wait for possible future price reductions for 2025?
This is the one I'm considering buying: Apple 2024 MacBook Air 13-inch Laptop with M3 chip: Built for Apple Intelligence, 13.6-inch Liquid Retina Display, 16GB Unified Memory, 256GB SSD Storage, Backlit Keyboard, Touch ID; Midnight

Costco currently has the MacBook Air M4 for $750, seems like a great deal. But do you think there’s a chance we’ll see better deals during Black Friday, or is $750 already about as good as it gets for this model? Please help.
Hi, I am looking at this specific configuration of the M4 MBA. It’s my first time buying a MacBook so I’m unfamiliar. I know apple doesn’t do sales on its own website so I’m okay with buying from a retailer. Is it possible that Black Friday will have a lower price or will it be similar?
I’ve heard rumors that a “cheaper” MacBook is supposed to come out. If I don’t buy this model now or during Black Friday, is it worth waiting for the next MacBook release?
For reference I’m a student and I don’t do anything intensive on my devices, mostly simple web tasks. I just want something that will work and last.
Thanks
Edit: I ended up buying the same model but open boxed from Best Buy later in the day, after I posted and it is definitely what I wanted. Thank you for all the responses, they were super helpful!
