Hi,
I've realized recently that I have been paying extra money for my subscriptions made through my iPhone. For example, an Individual Subscription for YouTube is £12.99 on the website and £16.99 through iPhone! Also I found a similar difference in service price for X.
This is so frustrating. Why does Apple do that to its users? It's enough that the products are expensive to pay extra fees more than what people can pay on other devices.

Some merchants increase their prices for subscriptions made in-app as Apple takes a commission on digital goods sales made on its platform. Not all merchants transfer this price difference to customers, it can be Apple's "fault" but not its direct decision. You are free to subscribe out of an Apple device (e.g. on the website) and pay the "real" price.
