I've been reluctant in purchasing the MagSafe battery pack because it costs a lot and offers negligible extra battery compared to other wired options out there. However, recently finally decided to go for it anyway, and woah I've been pleasantly surprised - it has basically replaced my wireless charger altogether!
I have only one adapter and 2 cables - lightning and wireless MagSafe charger. I tend to use wireless usually, and I was thinking about how to set this up because the battery pack uses lightning - and I realised the battery pack can just replace the wireless charging pad altogether! It can charge my AirPods and iPhone alike, and if I lose power due to electricity cut or I simply need to just pick it up and take it with me - it's like the wireless charging pad got a battery built into it!
I wonder why Apple decided to market it as a battery pack and not as a wireless charging pad with battery built into it. Maybe it's the cost. Not that battery packs cost that high either. What do you think?
