Apple chargers tend to be more expensive as they're a 1st party, and Apple has no qualms about padding their margins. That being said, the most recent Apple USB-C chargers also way more likely to be spec compliant than most chargers (older ones were missing a required 15V voltage rail because Apple designed them when the spec did not require it explicitly). What you'll be missing though from Apple chargers is any PPS at all, since none of Apple's products support PPS, even their smaller phone-centric chargers (20W, 35W Dual) don't support PPS, so there may be situations with your Samsung and Google Pixel phone where they won't charge as efficiently from the Apple chargers. r/UsbCHardware on Reddit: Apple USB-C chargers?
December 25, 2022 -
Good day, USB-C community! I have been purchasing used Apple USB-C charging bricks under the notion that they are of a MUCH higher quality than typical third-party chargers (including folks like Anker and Aukey). I have two of the Apple 96w chargers and they seem to work just fine... and I picked them up for a song. I have a colleague that thinks that's the Apple chargers are nothing special and that I'd be much better off purchasing one of the higher-end Anker charging bricks that have multiple ports.
What say you, community?

I'd say nothing special but less of a worry of one burning your house down. That being said, I tend to go w/ Anker as they are smaller, reliable, and have more ports. I'm not an expert, this is just my experience.

Clearing up some confusion I'm seeing about USB-C speeds regarding charging and data transfers on the iPhone 15 models
Fastest I’ve seen my 15 Pro Max charge so far is 24w using cable with a display. It correctly measures 97w when charging my Anker battery pack as that also says 97w. That was from 54% so it may charge faster if it had less battery level. More on reddit.com

New iPhone Charging Cords/Cubes - Apple Community
There's nothing that states you absolutely need to go out and buy a new charger. ... My two iPhone 15’s were sent with charging cords having the C connector on both ends. So…Apple “simply assumed” that I’d have a C charging cube laying around? Typical attitude in today’s world. Feh! Do you have a question or did you just want to vent? It was clearly noted in "what's in the box" when you ordered an iPhone 15. If you didn't have any any USB C charging bricks, you could have bought one or even a USB C to USB A adapter to use the cable which came in the box.

How can Apple get away with saying everyone already has a charging block when they are shipping the new iPhone with USB C? The only iPhones that shipped with that are the 11 Pro. - Quora
Answer (1 of 8): Apple’s pretty much expecting today’s new iPhone 12 user to already be an iPhone user, Macintosh user, or iPad user. If you have owned an iPhone or iPad since 2012, you already have a power brick (aka, charging block, charger, etc… it’s not actually a charger, but that’s what eve...
