Can you share your experiences with Apple Card support compared to other credit cards?
Apple Card customer service sucks
Gut feeling Apple Card’s customer service is AI.
Long time fan of Apple Card. After a Terrible customer support experience I will be looking for alternatives.
Sounds pretty typical for credit card companies tbh. I wouldn’t stop using the card just because of this.
It’s generally a bad financial practice to use your high yield savings account to pay off credit card bills. You should definitely start paying those off from your Apple Cash or regular checking/savings account.
I say just take this as a learning experience. It sucks but at least you wont make the same mistake twice.

As mentioned in the title and tl;dr, I believe their support is subpar. Below is my experience with the card, but I am curious about your experiences with their support.
I opened the card in late 2021, financed a total of 11 items from the Apple Store (and am still paying off installments on 3 of them), and used it for my main purchases for a few months. However, their support has been no help to me. Over these years, I've encountered two issues with transactions.
The first issue involved a website that used my stored credit card information to automatically renew a subscription without notifying me beforehand, a requirement under California law. They charged me twice—once on my card and once on my family member's card, who is an authorized user on my account and they refuse to refund any of them stating they have sent me a notification. I opened disputes for both charges, but they were closed each time because they were considered duplicate requests. Despite my efforts to explain the situation repeatedly through messages and phone calls, the outcome was always the same: they closed it as a "duplicate request." It took 2 months, but I eventually received a refund directly from the website.
The second issue, which occurred today, was even more troubling and has convinced me to restrict my use of this card solely to Apple installments. I purchased a subscription within an app that allegedly offered a specific feature with the purchase. However, after accidentally subscribing for a month instead of a week, I realized the promised feature was missing, leaving me feeling scammed. My attempt to request a refund via the Apple ID problem page was rejected twice. Consequently, I decided to dispute the charge through my credit card, only to discover that credits on my account were used first, and then my Apple Card was charged for the remainder ($9.93 out of a $30 purchase). Despite the relatively small amount, I am uncomfortable with being scammed and chose to dispute the charge to make a point. However, I found out it's impossible to dispute an Apple App Store transaction via the Apple Card, effectively penalizing me for using an Apple Card for Apple Store transactions.
As mentioned, the amount is not my main concern; it's the lack of support from this card that deeply troubles me. At this point, I have decided never to use it for anything significant, as they fail to provide assistance, even for Apple Store transactions. What's your experiences?
