On your PDF statement, these purchases might appear as apple.com/bill or itunes.com/bill.

My sister has been stealing from my mom and there are lots of Apple charges on her account. We don’t have access to the Apple account so no idea what the charges are for. Is there anyway to know what the charges are related to from the little bit of detail on the bank statements?

Only way to see is via Purchase History from the Apple Account on device or in browser. However; the email & password will be needed. Apple will not disclose anything if it isn’t your account.

There is no way. Apple will not give you charges from someone else's account, but they will verify if your credit card information was compromised. You'll have to check https://reportaproblem.apple.com while logged into her Apple Account.
