I don't understand why I can't redeem my gift card on Android devices, cause i am pesky poor lol, I don't understand why even they borther to launch 2 apps on Android if they decided to deliver such subpar service. I guess i will use Spotify then.

That sounds like one of the newer App⁤le gift cards where you just scan the long barcode / QR in the Ap⁤p Store, tap your profile pic → Redeem Gif⁤t Card or Code, or at checkout in an Ap⁤ple Store and it adds to your Ap⁤ple balance; I’ve actually topped up my balance before with cards I got from playing mobile games through Mistplay and they all wor⁤ked the same way once I scanned them. US Apple / iTunes gift cards from outside the US - what actually works?

I use Amazon e-gift cards, just have to set delivery address to a US one even though the card is emailed. I have a shipping address I rarely use for that but I imagine you could use something random. More on reddit.com

Running into this issue again and figured I’d ask before wasting more money.

i’m not in the US. Local stores don’t sell US apple or itunes gift cards, and a couple online ones I tried either declined my payment or the code didn’t redeem on my US Apple ID. super frustrating.

I remember seeing carddelivery mentioned in older threads, but that was a while ago. curious what people are using now and what to avoid.

Yeah this is still annoying. Physical cards are basically useless if you’re not in the US.
