I recently upgraded to the iPhone 16 and looking to get a USB C to HDMI adapter. My previous phone was the iPhone 13 and I had Apple’s USB Lighting to HDMI adapter for it. When using this adapter with my iPhone 13, the video broadcasted directly onto the tv in full screen; I don’t see the mirroring image of my phone on my tv. Having read some conflicting info online, I would like to know if this functionally, this full screen video mode whatever you call it, will work on Apple’s USB C to HDMI adapter? Does it work on third party’s USB C to HDMI adapters as well considering it’s a $50 difference?
Hi, I made a post couple days back about getting a new macbook: https://www.reddit.com/r/mac/comments/1kuajfc/which_chip_is_okay_for_next_5_years_for_a_macbook/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
If I want to connect my monitor to the laptop, I need to use USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter from Apple which is quite expensive. Does it matter if I use an offbrand Multiport adapter instead of the official one? Please let me know!
I was wondering if anyone has tried any USB-C to HDMI adapter on the switch yet. I say the apple one first because it also have a usb and a way to charge as well. sinces its mad for the macbook with similar power demands it may be the best bet unless nintendo is blocking its use somehow... I’m looking to pick up Apple’s USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter. I don’t mind the cost as long as it just works like every other Apple product I’ve owned. However, there are a lot of terrible reviews on Apple’s website.
Has anyone used this adapter with their iPad Pro? Have you had any issues?
