Update refund post: Apple agrees that we are entitled to refunds for any in app purchases within the last 45 or 90 days, so if you feel you’ve been wronged, you can actually do something about it instead of just complaining in the sub, which won’t do anything.
You paid for them, got what you paid for... and then tried refunding it? Like in another comment you said, an update happened and changed the value of what you paid for. The update decreased the amount of golden eggs you get and therefore, the value of breaking open the piggy bank was increased. What you did was scummy and you're probably getting banned/negative golden eggs if they're nice. You spent so much time on this and now its all getting wasted because you're mad the stuff you paid for increased in value. Congrats. More on reddit.com

Refund for app purchases
I don’t know where you live, so definitely check up on your local consumer laws about right to withdrawal. But usually, you really don’t have the law on your side on this, sadly. You signed up for these services, were billed according to the contract you signed, and now have access to these services for however long the subscription is set for, by which you usually waive the right to withdrawal as per the contract, unless that is illegal in your country, so as I said, look up local consumer protection laws. There is definitely a chance that calling high enough up in the chain of Apple support could help you cancel and refund them, if you can argue enough that it wasn’t clear that these trial subscriptions would be charged like this. Good luck, just don’t get your hopes up top high and try to find a way to offset these charges to your account in some way, just in case. Be aware that forcefully refunding the charges through your bank could lead to termination of your Apple account, as well as the accounts associated with the apps whose subscriptions you’re cancelling. r/ios on Reddit: Refund for app purchases
January 4, 2023 -

Hello! Recently I forgot to cancel two free trials for a couple apps that I’d purchased. I figured it wouldn’t be an issue getting them refunded, and went to reportaproblem.com to request a refund. Both refund requests were denied, so I requested they be reviewed, but still it says they’re ineligible for refunds.

When I called Apple support they said that there is nothing they can do to reverse the charges, and my only option would be contacting my bank and reporting them as fraud. I also contacted both of the apps to ask if they could refund on their end and was told it must be done through Apple.

Both of these charges were for $59.99, and this has over drafted my checking account. I’m very stressed about money and can’t afford $120 in fees for apps I don’t wish to use.

If I do end up refuting these charges with my bank can anyone tell me what will happen? Should I call Apple support again and ask for a manager? It didn’t seem like there was anything that could be done on their end, but I really really need this money back :(

And yes, I’ve definitely learned my lesson this time about signing on for free trials.
