In all seriousness, from what I understand Apple's ID group spends more time in the factory figuring out how to make impossible things more than any other design team I know of. And they adopted that approach about twenty years ago. They are chasing perfection, and it has led them down a craftsmanship rabbit hole. But it's a winning strategy for them, and no one has come chasing. Who else is milling consumer-grade products from solid blocks of alloy? I am still dumbfounded by how they managed to fit the electronics into the second-gen Apple TV remote considering there are no thru-holes. I'm also guessing that their cutting-room-floor is substantial. I bet they take a lot of unrealized concepts to a pretty far stage. More than other companies would tolerate. They're highly curated.
