I just had to renew my student verification. After I did that a window popped up that the verification was valid for one year and if I fail to verify again the price would change to the standard plan. Additionally the free Apple TV+ subscription would be cancelled.
Sadly I forgot to take a screenshot, but I'm pretty sure it said something like this. I also found some websites that said AppleTV+ is free with the student subscription of Apple Music.
So is it actually free? I paid for Apple TV+ although I had Apple Music as a student for almost a year now. I cancelled it for this month to try it, but I would appreciate if somebody could just tell me now if I need to subscribe again.
Also I don't know if I can actually post this here. I thought this was a hardware and software sub for the actual Apple TV and not the service, but I saw some show discussion, so... Sorry if this doesn't belong here.

TV+ is bundled with such subscriptions for a 'limited time' . i'd guess they're trying to entice people away from Spotify, which includes Hulu and Showtime with their student subscription.

To my knowledge (I’m a student in Canada), it is included but for your use only - you can’t share it through Family Sharing. Also, it may show on various menus that you don’t have an active Apple TV+ subscription (may show expired, etc.), but then you go to watch something and it plays just fine. Weird kinks in the system but can currently confirm that my student AM membership lets me access TV+ content.

Does anyone know if there were any changes to this bundle? I have been having the Apple TV+ included for free with my student Apple Music subscription for a long time without issues, but since this morning when I open the TV app, it keeps telling me to subscibe for 3$ a month for 3 months then arround 6$ a month after. But the shows work and I can play them anyway. Is apple planning on removing the TV from the bundle and that is why it is asking me to subscribe?

They seem to be doing renewals. They will want you to resubmit proof via UNiDays link. Then you will be back in business. Unless you graduated. They you ARE in business or, have a job? If this is your last semester, you are in luck as, you can submit to UNiDAYS and get another year.

I noticed if I click the video from the main advertisement in the Apple TV app, then I get the pop-up, which seems to be for the Family Subscription, not individual. But if you click on the episode within the show, then it plays fine.
