I have it, and it is worth it for me. Do the math and see if everything that you'd actually use in it is cheaper than buying them individually. You’re not missing anything. Apple One is designed for people like you and your wife who use multiple Apple services, or individuals who use most/all of them on their own which is rare. Combined, you'd use around 1.2TB of storage, so you'd eventually need to upgrade, which can be done separately within the plan. Looks like you'd save a few $ each month, and after upgrading storage, you'd be a few $ over. The main advantage being that you and your wife can access all of these services.

It's not an investment. It's a service you pay for.

Apple one premier is $41 with tax now through Apple. They are totally nuts. The Apple one family perk price is unchanged. I did the Apple one family perk through Verizon for $20, then added the premier 2TB storage separately for $10.

So basically I have Apple one Premier minus the news and fitness for $30. Their news app is not worth $10/mo, and unless you use their fitness subscription this is a great work around their insane pricing.

This is the way. Likewise with Disney+ bundle perk is $10 + $6 for Hulu Ad-Free. $16 is better than Disney+ No-Ads + Hulu No-Ads directly from Disney. However, the Apple One perk includes Music, TV, Arcade (that's $26 through Apple that you're getting for $20 through Verizon.) What I need is TV, Arcade, and News (no fitness, no music.) So Verizon Perk $20. Add News and 2TB storage is $23 for which I'd end up paying more. I wish Verizon or Apple had an alternative that fit me better. Maybe I need to talk my wife about Apple News again. I don't really care about it but it's the one thing she wants. At least then it would be only $30 with Verizon Perk + Storage. I might just go back to A-la carte and drop Apple TV+ and Arcade for the months I don't use them it's just that for the last 6 months or so I have which is why I caved and got the premiere bundle.

I’m currently subscribed to Apple Music and have the 200GB iCloud storage plan. My Apple TV+ trial ends next week, and I’m thinking about keeping it. The Apple One Individual plan includes most of what I need, but it also comes with things I won’t use, like Apple Arcade, and only includes 50GB of iCloud storage. So I’m trying to figure out if it makes more sense to pay for the three services separately, or get the Apple One bundle and pay an extra $2.99 per month to include the iCloud storage of 200GB

It doesn't matter if you're paying for services you will not use, it matters how much you are saving for the services that you will use.

Cost-wise, it’s better to bundle with Apple One instead of paying for everything separately. I’m doing that right now. I’m paying $3.99 CAD for 200 GB of iCloud+ storage on top of $22.95 CAD ($26.94 CAD together) for Apple One Individual, mainly for TV+ and Music. The plan comes with 50 GB of iCloud+ storage, so I have 250 GB now which I don’t really need. The next tier up is Family at $28.95 CAD, just $2 more for 200 GB of iCloud+ storage already included, but it feels kind of redundant for me.

I’ve been thinking about Apple one’s membership because I already pay for iCloud 2Tb 10/month & I’m thinking about leaving Spotify for Apple Music anyway. They cost the same, Spotify spams too much with their near by concerts emails etc.

I don’t use Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News but 2 of those services I’m already at $20/month.

I subscribe to the family tier and have my household, friends household, and parents household all added to the plan. You can add up to 5 additional members to the family plan so if there’s other people you could add to the group to split the cost you would actually save money. If you’re not watching Apple TV+ you’re also missing out on some great content. I’d even argue their originals are the best out there of any of the services. Edit: corrected the amount of additional members that can be added.

It definitely is since you’re moving to Apple Music anyway. Also Apple TV+ is really good. There’s a 1 month trial for Apple One so try it out and see if it works for you.

For over a year I’ve been using Spotify but have been having some little issues with it (mainly small ones).

I’ve also been looking for some new things to watch and I’ve been told to watch Ted Lasso.

On top of all this I keep getting pop ups on my iPhone saying my iCloud is full.

So I’m thinking about moving my music to apple and also giving Apple TV and the 50GB storage a go.

I’m also not much of a mobile gamer but I would most likely put that down to the amount of ads within mobile games.

So switching to apple one makes sense right?

No, I just use iCloud with 200GB. I would maybe use News+ but that doesn't exist in germany. I honestly don't think that Apple One makes sense for many People unless you actually use all of it.

I think it’s cheaper if you’re a student.

As far as I know, most Apple Music promos are for new subscribers and returning subscribers who deactivated more than 12 months. Students get discounts, and you can get annual plan for a cheaper price.

I really love the Apple One bundles when you are already subscribing to most of the services. Sometimes, just for a few extra bucks I can get more services.

However, I really wish it offered more ‘tiers’ like

500gb of iCloud storage plan in a bundle
More iCloud Storage in lieu of Apple Arcade for Individual and Family plans
A music and Apple Tv bundle
A fitness and music bundle
A family plan geared toward couples

Especially on that last one. Most of the plans are geared toward families while completely ignoring the couples. I would love a plan with Apple Music Duo + Apple TV + 1 TB/500gb iCloud

The whole point of a bundle for a company is to get a little more money out of you while also adding subscribers to the services that need some extra attention. And then ultimately for you to be so ingrained in the ecosystem that you don’t consider switching. What you’re hoping for is to just get the few services you explicitly want while paying less.

I'm not sure what you're expecting. The price of the bundles is already crazy low. They are practically giving away News+ and Fitness+ in the Premier bundle (for obvious reasons). You might save a dollar with a different combination. Really, the personal and premier plans are the best bets for most people. That middle family plan is the odd guy out with too-low storage for a family. But, thats obviously to push more people to the top sub. $30 a month is a steal if you're using Music, TV, and storage with more than one person in a family. The rest is just bonus.
