Transitioning is easy. Simply follow the steps outlined above to sign up for Apple One. Any existing subscriptions that are included will automatically become part of your Apple One plan and you will no longer be billed separately for them. One exception is if you have an existing iCloud+ plan that includes more storage than your new Apple One plan — in that case, you will continue to be charged separately but you can cancel it. You’re not missing anything. Apple One is designed for people like you and your wife who use multiple Apple services, or individuals who use most/all of them on their own which is rare. Combined, you'd use around 1.2TB of storage, so you'd eventually need to upgrade, which can be done separately within the plan. Looks like you'd save a few $ each month, and after upgrading storage, you'd be a few $ over. The main advantage being that you and your wife can access all of these services.
