I updated to OS 11, and my Apple Pay stopped working. I can see my payment card on my screen but it does not interact with the tap function of the cash register.

I double tap the side to display the card - it says to "Hold Near Reader" and nothing happens when I hold it near the reader.

I've searched online for a solution and I'm only finding information for the card not being loaded into Wallet - my card is there. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Don't know if your problem still exists, but you should deactivate Assistive Touch on the Apple Watch.

Can’t add cards to Apple Pay I have recently switched to the new iPhone 14 pro from my iPhone 13- and restored everything from iCloud. when trying to set Apple Pay on my new iPhone I keep receiving the message “could not connect to Apple Pay”, no matter what I do! the things I have done already: talked to Apple support on the phone, nothing helped. logged out and back in to my Apple id removed PayPal from my Apple ID and added my card that I wanted to use with Apple Pay checked that my region is the correct one. i Feel like I have tried it all and I can’t seem to get any help, so if anyone had ever experienced that issue I would love to hear a solution :) I have to mention that the cards are still available on my Apple Watch since they stayed on it from my old iPhone, and its annoying to only rely on it to pay everywhere..

Since the stable release on Monday I have the same issue, it doesn't show "Hold Near Reader" and I have to tap the card a few times for it to appear, when I hold it near the reader then the terminal throws a "card read error". I hope they fix this quick.

Delete your ApplePay account info (all) and re-enter it. That should fix it. · To explain what happened here review the Apple Watch Series 2 Teardown jump down to Step4 last image you'll see the NFC chip is on the back of the display! So when you swapped it out your encrypted info was lost. · So we need to reprogram it into the chip. The info you see within the screen is only the visual effects the action fires off. Two actions take place the visual and telling the chip the correct record (in case you have more than one card stored) to send. · Update (02/11/2018) · OK, Ive switched your device info to the correct one. · This model uses the antenna plate which is near the gasket as you can see here: · Below the yellow gasket you'll see two gold colored bars these are the antennas did you damage them in the process of removing the old gasket?

I now find when I go to pay for something after double clicking the side button instead of my card displaying on the watch I get the message “Confirm with assistive touch is enabled. To confirm payment, open the action menu and use assistive touch gesture to confirm.
