Today I bought an Apple Pencil Gen 2 (which was on sale for $84.99 woohoo) and got the ticket for the correct pencil at the electronics dept. During check-out I gave the cashier the ticket, who called out to somebody over by merch pick-up "Apple Pencil" I said "make sure it's Gen 2" and then cashier called out "156" which happens to be the last 3 numbers of the item. Paid and pulled cart forward, the merch p/u guy looked at my receipt, circled the item # and price, and initialed my receipt. I took the pencil, started walking away then pulled over by food court to double check the item. Thank God I did, cuz he handed my a Gen 1 pencil! I get that people make mistakes, and I wasn't upset (just mildly infuriated LOL) so I took it back over to the merch p/u guy and told him he gave me the wrong pencil. He just took mine the wrong one back and brought the correct one and said sorry. I luckily left the store with the right apple pencil, but that could have ended very differently if I had taken the wrong one home and then have had to try to explain why I was returning the wrong pencil from what I paid for. Long story short...............never assume, check your item carefully before leaving the store. I ASSUME the store wouldn't have hassled me if I had taken it home and then had to return it, but I also live 60+ miles away, and darn glad I didn't have to see how it ended. All's well that ends well, Happy fellow Mother's Day to all!! And I'm not truly that upset to RANT, I just didn't know which other flair to choose. ;o)
What is the return policy for Apple Pen? I don’t see it in the 90 day grouping, so does that mean whenever? I bought a couple of Apple pens for my kids quite some time back, they weren’t super interested but now my daughter wants to take notes with it and her new iPad but she can’t get either to connect (new iPad is usb-c, so she’s using an adapter). I had forgotten that I had bought at Costco. I can endure a little bit of shame returning things but I feel like I would look like a complete idiot if the window is 90 days. Does anyone know for certain?
As the title suggests, I just saw that the Apple Pencil Pro is on sale. It’s on Amazon for $99. I’m wondering if I should snag it now or wait a little bit longer? I know that the all-time low price for the Apple Pencil Pro was $89 and I’m not worried about spending $10 more. I’m just wondering if it’s a good deal and worth buying now.
