In Apple Podcasts on iPhone and iPad, tap your profile on the Listen Now tab and select Manage Subscriptions. In System Settings on Mac, click Apple Account, then click Media & Purchases and select Subscriptions > Manage.
Creating Apple Account for my show
You don't need an Apple ID to submit your podcast to Apple Podcasts. You used to, up until March this year, because you needed to submit manually via Podcasts Connect (Apple's podcaster dashboard) using your Apple ID. Apple changed this process in March, and now it's a simple one-click submission via your podcast hosting platform, and usually approved within an hour. You can still claim the show on Podcasts Connect for additional data about your audience on Apple Podcasts, and for that you'd need an Apple ID. July 20, 2025What the hell is going on with Apple, Apple IDs, and Podcast Connect?
I have this same problem and it has existed for ~2 years from what I can tell. It took me 5 calls to support and 15 hours of hold time on the phone, but I'll share with you what I got to. There's a bug that doesn't show the terms and conditions. That's what's blocking you. The solution I have come up with is to create the apple id as normal, but then use the android version of apple music to login. It should pop the t&c screen there. Get everything set up through the app and then it should validate in the rest of the system allowing you to proceed. This is just my crazy work around that a help desk agent and I came up with after nearly 2/3 of a day on the phone. I hope it works for you! More on reddit.com

April 19, 2024Unable to create an Apple ID for a client's podcast. Is it the phone number?
You have to tie it an actual cellphone so they can send the varication codes to that number. I went around and round with this issue three weeks ago. If ok if you tie it to a personal email address. Just make sure you never loose access to that email address if you do not have an Apple device. Not having an Apple device makes resetting passwords a nightmare. I had my ID tied to a previous employer. More on reddit.com

Oh I JUST fixed this myself. For me I had to actually download the iTunes app, and from there it was as simple as clicking the "accept terms and conditions" box and then submit, and BOOM! I got confirmation that my account was fully validated. Lol. I don't own apple products so I downloaded it on windows. Good luck! More on reddit.com

Hi all, I'm producing a pod and we have a host email, YT account and just got the RSS feed up so I want to also post to Apple and Spotify. Spotify was easy and Apple seems easy as well, but I need to create an Apple ID (now called Apple Account) to post to Apple.
I have a personal Apple Account but would like to create a new one just for posting the podcast I produce, to stay organized. However I get hit with the error code when trying to create a new account because they all must be tied to a phone number, but obviously mine is in use already.
I read some other posts here but don't see any definitive answer. Have others had this issue and is there a workaround? I really want to keep my personal and working account separate - how is this not possible?

Went through something similar. I launched my podcast TODAY and can’t claim my show. I tried creating an Apple account. Got to the step where it send a verification code to my cell number (which is tied to my personal Apple account) and it times out and doesn’t let me proceed. Can’t claim my show. Let me know if you figure it out. I’ll do the same.

There are multiple methods for adding a payment method to your account, choose the one that works best for you! Once you have a payment method attached, login to the App Store and download an app to activate your ID. It will lead you through a series of prompts to approve some terms and conditions, but once that has been accomplished you should get a notice that your Apple ID is approved to use all Apple Applications. Once you've seen that approval - navigate over to Apple Podcast connect and login with your newly approved Apple ID!
