The prices should be the same across all Apple Certified repair locations (with perhaps a very small difference in labour costs). Apple no longer repairs just the glass or LCD, but instead replaces the entire display. I used to work at London Drugs on 8th St. as a Apple Certified Technician and IIRC, the cost for a display for a iPhone 8 plus was about $255 without AppleCare. If you do decide to go to London Drugs to get your phone fixed, you should know that they work off an appointment basis (atleast they did when I left about 3 months ago). So I suggest giving them a call first and asking for the computer department so that you can figure out a time that works for both you and them. More on reddit.com

I’m not sure what you mean by “better deal”. You’re paying essentially what is an insurance deductible, and you get a speedy replacement, without having to first send in the phone you currently have or the hassle of taking it to an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider. The $99 covers everything except catastrophic damage, which is usually used to describe severe mangling, where nothing can be salvaged. You are requesting Apple drop-ship you a like-new (virtually indistinguishable from factory fresh), you put your damaged one in the box, seal it back up and as long as Apple receives it within the expected timeframe you won’t be charged the full value of the phone. Trying to find the lowest price for iPhone screen repair damage. Only the screen is damage and no LCD repairs need to be made. I've looked at Apple's website and have seen that London Drugs and Jump.ca are Apple Authorized Service Provider but they do not list their prices. I do not have AppleCare and it is an iPhone 8 Plus.
Personally, I do not want to go to third-party companies but if anyone has had good experience for low prices please recommend!
