I am thinking of getting my battery replaced, as battery maximum capacity is now down to 75%. If I go to my nearest Apple Store, will they actually finish it while I wait? How long does it typically take? Or would it be better to schedule at a Best Buy, which is also an authorized apple service provider and can schedule through the Apple website?

At our Apple store the wait is often over 2 hours for walk-in’s and that is just to get to the level where they run diagnostics and check your phone in. A Genius Bar appt will speed you directly to that point. Even better (and personally I do) Chat with an Apple support rep and get them to run the diagnostics remotely and set the ticket up at the store, so that when you walk into the store they can just check your phone in on the ticket and send it directly to the tech bench (yes there is still a wait at this point).
