I just purchased an M2 and I am now 8 days outside of the 14-day return policy. I would like to possibly exchange it for the new M3, but I don’t think I can since I’m past the return period. Has anyone been able to get Apple to accept a return outside of their return policy window?

Apple chat said I had to do it in store and there it is up to the sales associate and manager if they will or not. That being said I bought a m2 pro on 10/15 and on Tuesday I returned mine at Apple and ordered the m3 pro. They gave me no hassle and just returned it to a gift card and then ordered the new one for me right there. I’ll pick it up Tuesday. Be sure that you pack it all up nicely with all the components. I’d go in at a not super busy time and just be very nice I think they have sympathy for those of us in this situation.

As the title states, just wondering if anybody has had any luck returning an item for exchange after the listed 15 day return policy from apple? I received my MBA 23 days ago, and thinking maybe the MBP would suit me better. I'm 8 days past 15. Its probably a long shot but I'm just wondering if anyone has every tried?
