Spoke with an Apple customer service rep who said that an in-store purchase can be returned for up to 30 days with no issue and that every Apple Store would honor this.
I purchased an iPhone 16 Pro a couple weeks ago just to try out the smaller size before I decided which 17 Pro to order (been using the Max for years). I totally forgot that the phones are only available for pre-order at first though, so needed a little extra time on my current device. I’ll return it after I switch everything over from the new one.
Either way I’m fine because I have the recorded call confirming I’m good. Just curious about everyone else’s experience.
Including extended product return window.
I bought a phone that I initiated to return as I don’t like the model.
Apple gave me 14 days from the date of initiating the return to return it by mail. Can I keep service on the phone I’m returning and still use until I return it several days by now (won’t be able to do it until then and don’t have anyone to do it for me) even though it will be past the initial 14 days? I’m waiting for another model to arrive from another company to transfer service
Hey everyone,
I’m planning to get an M4 MacBook for my partner using my recent tax return. She’s starting her studies soon and wants to try out macOS, but there’s a chance she might not adapt to it. I’ve noticed that, over the past several years, Apple has extended its return window during the holiday season, typically covering purchases from early November to late December and allowing returns until early January.
Does anyone know if they’re planning to offer this extended return period again this year? It would give us some extra peace of mind in case she finds macOS isn’t the right fit. I want to get it soon, but I’d ideally like to buy it knowing that we have more than the usual 14 days to decide given she won't be able to open it until December.
I initiated a return for a macbook air I bought 12 days ago. It would be the 14th day since I bought it on November 6. But it says on the return page, "Print a free return shipping label and send this item back to Apple by November 18, 2024."
Does it mean I can sent it on or before that date? Or does it mean apple has to receive it by that time?
I ordered a mac mini m4 pro instead, but it's gonna take a a whole month before I receive it. It would be nice if I could use this mac for a few more days before the mac mini arrives.
Do not buy any Apple products until the 31st. Apple has all but confirmed they will be releasing their first M3 devices soon and will be announcing it this coming Monday. Rumors have claimed the M3 Max will have 12P+4E cores which would be a massive jump over the current M2 line. No one knows for sure what is actually going to be released, but it's better to wait at this point to be safe.
*Update: They announced M3 iMac, and new M3 Pro & Max 14 & 16in MacBook Pros and also discontinued the 13in MacBook Pro.
