You can book from available shopping slots which are based on store staffing schedules. Don’t neglect the online pre-sales support via chat and call and FaceTime scheduled on demand through the Apple Store app.
In my experience I save time by starting with the online pre-sales and they are very quick to fill in any gaps I have in my knowledge and they also can set up a reservation for you once it’s clear you want to go see the product physical or they can order it for you and ship direct or for store pickup. They also can make setup reservations so you get the device or service set up promptly when you receive it. Data transfer, cellular account and more…
Answer from bmike on Stack ExchangeWhere can I find information about my repairs or AppleCare coverage?
Sign in to Apple Support to get information about current or recent repairs and check AppleCare coverage for each device associated with your Apple Account.
Is there a service guarantee?
We guarantee our service and replacement parts for 90 days or the remaining term of your Apple warranty or AppleCare plan, whichever is longer, as outlined in our Apple Repair Terms and Conditions. This is in addition to your rights provided by consumer law. Equipment that Apple provides as part of the repair or replacement service may contain new or previously used genuine Apple parts that have been tested and pass Apple functional requirements.
What’s covered under warranty?
The Apple Limited Warranty covers your device and all the Apple-branded accessories that come in the box with your product against manufacturing issues for one year from the date you bought them. Apple-branded accessories that are purchased separately, like adapters, cables, wireless chargers, and cases, are covered by the Apple Limited Warranty for Accessories. Our warranty is in addition to rights provided by consumer law in your country or region.
Our warranty doesn’t cover accidental damage or batteries that wear down from normal use. If your situation isn’t covered and consumer law doesn’t apply, there will be a cost associated with repairs through Apple. If your issue is ineligible for service, you may need to pay the full value for a replacement device.
If you’re not sure what’s covered for your device, you can check your coverage status.
