Hello Apple community, this is a question for people who have friends/family as Apple employees or are Apple employees themself.
Currently with student discount, I see you can get about 10% off and a $150 giftcard with included while buying the new iPad in Canada. Is this the best discount/savings you can get or is the Apple Employee discount better? Can you use both discount offers or just one? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! I have a few friends that work for Apple and wanted to see what was the best course of action for myself. Thanks!

To my knowledge, there is no verification required in Canada to order on the Apple Education store online to get the discount.
However what I am not totally clear on is if I order it online but for in store pickup, will they ask me for student verification when i pick it up?
Im not really a student and just want to save the $130 but don’t want to get in trouble 😂

Apple could re-implement this validation step that students in other countries have to go through. If it does it may still be possible for non-students in the U.S. to avoid the validation step, as per this Reddit post. Canadian students can follow the same steps as the U.S. Start shopping at Apple’s Canada Education Store.

Does anyone know when the US and Canadian Apple Back to School offers will begin?
I think it began on June 5 in the US and June 23 in Canada last year. When would it start, in your opinion? I'm excited to purchase the iPad and M3 MacBook Air, and I think they come with gift cards right?

A lot of “apple employees” have been claiming it’s coming out last week, this week, next week. It seems to be that they have NO idea, but there’s a good chance it comes out this month , literally any day now.

I was at the Apple Store last week and was gonna buy a new MacBook, they advised me if I wanted to wait till next week the back to school sale would be starting. It’s now next week and hasn’t happened… I was thinking it would make sense to launch after WDC on Monday but that hasn’t happened

I am a university student in Canada, and I want to buy some Apple products. Can I use my student discount/student ID from Canada, travel to New Hampshire in the United States, and use my Canadian University Student ID to get the student discount in NH? I am asking this because NH is a no-tax state, and I will save $300+ CAD from tax with my current shopping bag.
Gas isn't a problem because I will go to the States for vacation anyway.

From what I know, it's based on an honor system. So literally anybody can purchase products from the education store with the discounts. But since you're a student anyways, go for it!

First of all, block that guy you're arguing with. I have him blocked, and life is better. Don't let them bring you down. Second of all, in the states it's honor system so you just buy it at their education site or say you're a student at the Apple Store. There is no software checkin to make sure you're a student. But I would just order online and pickup at the store.
