I wanted to subscribe to Apple Music once again last night, but the Music app would not let me choose the Student discount option. After speaking to an agent, she send me an email with link to apply for the student subscription for Apple Music but after I click on it, it redirects me to iTunes and a popup shows up with 3months in the price of 1 month for 10.99 shows up. More on discussions.apple.com

Apparently if you have already been using Apple Music and think of getting student discount, you can't because this offer is available only for new subscriber.
Like me, I ve been using it for years, recently got into college, thought of grabbing the offer and when I tap on student discount on web, it takes me to the AM App to the subscription page like an usual customer (without any offer).
Anyone else faced it yet? Did you get it solved? If yes, How?
