I have been using my Apple ID account for over 10 years. I registered it with my Gmail address and my primary phone number. I am still using that Gmail and phone number, and no one has ever accessed my account. Currently, I am logged into my iPhone 15 Pro and Watch Ultra. There is no way to back up all the data on my iPhone to another device because if I do, the deactivated Apple ID will transfer as well. Additionally, all the photos and videos I paid to back up on iCloud are now gone forever. I paid Apple to store my photos, believing that iCloud was safe, and now I've lost everything. I'm trying to get into my very old apple account from years ago. I believe it was one of my first accounts but I couldn't remember the password so I went to forgot password, put in the email and it said the account is locked and can't be used. And the account uses an iCloud email. I don't know what to do. Is there any way to get into the account or am I screwed?

Same thing. Moreover, my iPhone is still logged into this deactivated account and it doesn't allow me to log out. Therefore, it's essentially bricked by Apple for no reason and they are refusing to do anything about it.

Hi, I don't have any apple products I have an android and a windows computer but I wanted to watch some series so I bought Apple TV I think thats what it's called the streaming service.
I logged in got the 7 day free trial and on the hour everything is fine but after watching a few episodes it says I have to log in again and I go to do it but says my credentials are wrong so i go to change my password because maybe I forgot the password I don't know and it says the account is blocked. I didnt sign in to any other device apart from the computer where I first started watching and it happened a few hours after even making and activating the account. Now I did the reactivation process but it says I should last only a day and it's already been more then a day and it kind of defeats the whole 7 day trial because I'm gonna have the account locked. Sorry for the long text but is there a way to get my account back and is this normal?

There seems to be something wrong with these accounts atm, a lot are getting blocked after signing up and watching a bit of TV. No idea why. There's no fix either, support can't help from what I've seen posted on here. I'd still give them a go, but I wouldn't hold out any hope.

UPDATE: They denied my request by just saying this: "Dear Rodrigo, We have reviewed your request, and access to your account (my email) has been denied. Sincerely, Apple" no aditional information

Roughly every 2 weeks or so, give or take a week my Apple TV account gets locked. Everything is logged off and I have to then unlock my account and then re-log into my apple account. It's extremely annoying.

Anyone know what's happening or how to prevent this? It seems like someone is trying to log into my account, but I have no idea who or why.

This doesn't happen with any of my other accounts. Roughly ~3 years ago my Hulu account randomly logged in from Malaysia and I reset my password. No issues since then. I use a password manager, so every single password is unique. Any recommendations other than just randomly logging back into everything every 2 weeks or so?

Maybe someone is logging into it from another country than yours? Try changing the password.

I haven't used Apple products or services in probably over a decade,, but today I noticed the current $2.99/month offer for Apple TV and wanted to give it a try. I made an account, gave my card information (payment is pending), and after browsing through the movies and shows, I was locked out of the account and had to request account access, which can take up to a day. This was just within the hour I signed up.

From a few quick searches and finding other Reddit posts about this, it seems to be a consistent problem. I assume, based on others' experiences, that my requested access is going to be denied without explanation and my account will be gone. Is Apple going to take the pending payment? Not that $3 is a big deal, but it's kind of disappointing that I never even got to use the service before getting locked out.

Does anyone know why this happens?

If your Apple Account is locked, not active, or disabled Apple usually locks accounts when payment methods fail, or if you use a payment method flagged as suspicious. If your account remains locked you will not be charged.
