May 3, 2023 - Since I live outside the US, having recently subscribed to AppleTV, I ran into identical problems when attempting to watch anything longer than trailers. Within a few moments, I receive the same alert: "An error has occurred, please try again later." What I have discovered is to scroll down to the very bottom of the initial AppleTV website page (where listings of shows are being offered) and at the right side, in small print, a small box will show "Region: US" which is incorrect in my case.

When I try to watch or stream "The morning show" on apple TV it continuously states "Unable to play, There's a problem playing this video. Try again or troubleshoot the issue." Choices I have to click on are: 'Try again' or 'Start Troubleshooting'. Neither one of them gets it going. When I click Troubleshooting it states "unable to connect, There's a problem connecting for playback. Try again later".

September 1, 2023 - Tried a different browser, Brave, and found apple TV wants to install a player via a pop-up. Enabling pop-ups for tv.apple.com allowed the install pop-up to proceed. After that I not longer got "There was an error. Please try later." It is unfortunate that lazy web designers do not properly parse errors and give proper responses.

Last night, after continuing to just get the "There's a problem..." notice on every show I tried to watch on Apple TV+ through the Apple TV app on my Apple TV 4K device, I turned the TV and the Apple TV 4K off for a minute and turned it back on. I waited until this morning to try it again.
