Is Apple TV + worth the subscription?
Apple TV+ is certainly less content hours per dollar per month, but I prefer quality over quantity. That said, I currently have most of the other major streaming services too - Disney, Max, Netflix, Hulu, Paramount, and Prime (for shipping...Upload is good though) but I'm just not being picky about what I keep yet. In the past three years I've watched more new shows on Apple TV+ than anywhere else. The quality is just consistently very good so I'm more willing to give its new shows a chance. Of course, Apple is not a good classic rewatch library, so that role falls to the rest, though I recently realized that for the ~15 shows I regularly rewatch I'm better off just buying the complete series on iTunes when it's on a ridiculous sale. The Apple TV app (when used on most Apple hardware) can connect to other streaming services and basically give you one place to aggregate most viewing. It will track your watch progress, tell you when new episodes are released, recommend new programs, tell you when sporting events begin. However you must have an active subscription to those services to view. Apple TV+ is apples streaming platform. All of the content is exclusive. You don’t get access to programs from Hulu, HBO or others with the TV+ subscription. And you also don’t get unfettered access to movies and tv for sale in the iTunes Store. More on reddit.com

I have always found this to be one of the worst streaming services of all streaming services. To watch something worth watching you have to pay with your first born male child. Furthermore, their productions are some of the worst there is. Prime video comes in second behind Apple TV +.
Share your opinions and if you disagree please guide us in the right direction to maybe get some use out of a useless subscription that no one will out right subscribe.
My view if it was not part of the Apple one bundle no one will out right pay for it.
Many of the comments asked as to what shows I do watch to suggest comparatively. Thanks to one of the redditers they suggested I add it to the post so as not to keep replying to similar questions.
Some of the shows that I watch. Netflix: animal kingdom, el chapó, narcos, narcos México, spy ops, queen of the south, La Reina del sur, the black list…. Starz: lie to me, perception, criminal minds…. Max: GOT, House of dragons
This is kind of the genres that I like to watch.

I can understand the argument that there’s not ENOUGH to justify $10/month. But to say that the shows on Apple TV+ is “some of the worst there is” is really baffling to me. There are lots of excellent shows on there

Yes, however, they don't churn out a ton of shows and movies like Netflix or Hulu does. But their shows are top notch.

Never had apple tv before but am trying it for a month. Lots of shows from my watch list for other services such as hulu and netflix are already showing up. Does it connect to other services i have already? What all does apple tv include? Does it have hulu and disney plus and hbo, etc included in its subscription price? Is it better to stop my other subscriptions and just get apple tv?

Apple TV is an awesome streaming box. Nothing included unless you do a trial or a subscription or purchase. Apple TV+ is a streaming service. The TV app is an app for the Apple TV and Macs and iPhones/iPads. It'll do a variety of services built-in, that's where you watch purchases and rentals from Apple, and watch Apple TV+. The TV app also links into some other streaming apps (those that allow it) and keep track of your shows from multiple places in one place (up next list).

I just want to browse a list of all avaliable shows or movies but I can't seem to find an option to "view all". The closest thing I found was "browse by genre", but that's just full of content you have to rent, buy, or subscribe to.

In the Apple TV app, click on the “Apple TV+ Originals” tab. It should be the tab either second from the left or the top, depending on what kind of device you’re using. That tab shows everything that’s included in your subscription.
