Hi Everyone.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm a noob at this sort of thing. I searched the community, but didn't really see an answer to my question.

I am currently in Madrid, Spain and I need a new streaming device as I hate the Google Chromecast that I have been using. I have never used an Apple TV 4k, but have read that they are the best streaming device available.

I may be moving back to the USA in a year, so here's my question:

If I buy an Apple TV 4K here in Spain and use it to stream content here, and then I move back to the USA, will the unit allow me to switch to USA based content, or will it be "locked" to content in Spain?

The ATV seems to get refreshed purely based on the supply chain of whichever processor it uses. Maybe they've seen the emulators get very popular and are going to bump the storage for a new model? Though they also need to change how their persistent storage per app system works for that to be too appealing.
