Does your apple tv works? I cannot do anything on any browser. Tried Firefox , Brave, chrome and edge. Doesnt work on mobile browsers either. I can't use tv app. The website opens to the main page and I can't clikck anything, no reaction at all. I have made an apple account yesterday. Got 3 months free. Connectec my credit card to it. Right now when I try to login it says that my id or password is inoccrect (was ok yesterday). WEhen I want to reset password it says the ID doesnt exist (it was there yesterday)

As far as I can figure, the cause is this: the Manifest JSON always has "tv.apple.com" as root, which is not good for anyone outside the US. To get around the error message, non-US viewers will each time need to scroll all the way down to the footer and change the country settings. Scrolling to the footer itself alone is a pain (because the web page keeps loading new content) let alone going to the process of changing the locale again and again... Same when visiting the Apple TV+ website on https://tv.apple.com.

I saw on the internet that apple doesn't allow it but that doesn't make any sense to me. If LG OS has it, I expect apple tv to have it as well, at least 20x times better app.

Hi there. Today I downloaded an Apple TV movie (from the iPad app) to watch in my hotel room. I needed to chromecast from my IPad to the tv, and I have figured out that you can only chromecast on the website and not on the app. I then tried to open the Apple TV website, but every time I clicked on the link to the website, safari redirected me to the Apple TV app, which I didn’t want.

I don't know why you're having an issue but I can access https://tv.apple.com/ and play content in both Chrome and Edge. ... Glad to hear it works for someone. I have tried it several times using Chrome and Edge and cleared cache, etc., and it has never worked. I wonder if another browser would work, but if you have a PC and this works I have to say I am surprised. When I click on the button to play, usually nothing happens, and at other times it pops up a black screen (much as other streaming services do) but nothing is there - no play button, no pause button, nothing.

I built a new PC. Windows 11, running edge browser. I can sign into a show. Click on an episode and hear audio but no video pops up. I downloaded chrome and the same thing is happening. Any ideas?

Sorry to borrow your post but for some reason I can't make my own. I can't get the apple tv sub to work. I signed up for the free trial but it keeps saying "Start Free Trial" or "+ Add to Up Next" on every single show etc. Anyone got the solution? Quite annoyed when the documentary I wanna watch, only is available on Apple Tv -_- (NVM I tried on OperaGX instead of Chrome and some how that worked)

Preferably one you can control from you phone, so maybe there's a remote app for it for your phone.
I know there's the Puffin browser for Android TV, and there's a remote app for it for Android that I'm paying $1 a month for every month. I know it's only a dollar, but ideally I don't want to pay anything for something like this.
I might switch to iPhone from Android, so I would want a remote app for it for that. But it's also possible I could use Android at some point, so it would be nice if there's also an Android app. Thanks.

As it turns out, the problem was Virtual Box, which I have installed. The last update of Virtual Box creates an Ethernet adapter property with a long name. I unchecked that and it fixed my network. All the other work was fruitless and frustrating. I still do not know what the reset did to break apple TV+ using a browser.
