Apple pay is a system whereby you can add your supported credit card or debit card to your Apple device. For the phone and watch, you can tap on supported machines to pay. For the Mac, you just need to select Apple Pay on any online purchases (not as widely available). Adding a card to your device is a separate process from your card on file for your Apple account. For the phone, just open the wallet app. You can add a card there. Payments are charged directly on your credit/debit card. I don't know if prepaid credit cards are supported but I suspect they're not. More on reddit.com

I have a few questions which i can't seen to find the answers too...
Do i need money on Apple Pay to use Apple Pay (i.e. is it like a gift card)? Or can i just tie the apple pay to my iTunes account and have it draft from my card on file?
Does anyone know of any prepaid Visa or MasterCard which can be added to Apple wallet? Please only confirmed cards please... I've see options online but some that I have tried do not work.
2a) Is it pointless to have a prepaid card in the wallet if you have ApplePay? Is ApplePay accepted everywhere you can use your phone to pay or is it possible to come across a place which accepts RFID payments using your phone (or whatever we call it) but doesn't accept ApplePay?
Lastly if anyone has a guide on ApplePay and Apple Wallet I'd love to read it.... The information on Apple's website is terrible; it doesn't give you enough details to answer basic questions. Thanks for the help.

Apple cash is an electronic debit card issued by discover. The default pin is 0000. It can be used within the Apple Pay environment iPhone to iPhone. Also can be used at retailers that accept Apple Pay. Unfortunately many retailers have not set up the system correctly. It can only be used for purchases. No cash back. If the debit transaction doesn’t work try the credit option. I use it regularly.
