I need an easy access to my flight tickets and passes. Is there any app?
I travel a lot and the apple wallet was my dear friend for a long time. But I'm not a iOS user anymore and I'm looking for a good and stable alternative that I can trust 100%.
Thanks!!!

I’m likely going to switch to the Pixel 3 this fall. However, I’m wondering if there’s an Android app that is akin to Apples Wallet app. I know of Google Pay. However, I don’t know if it allows you to put airline, movie, train, theater, tickets etc in it for quick retrieval like you can the Wallet app. Thanks everyone for your input. Cheers!
My 12 year old has an iPhone and I have an Android. He's too young to have an actual bank account at my bank. I would like a way I can send him money where he could tap his phone to use it and not need an actual card. Is there a way to get around Apple and Android not playing nice together?
I transferred from iPhone half a year ago and I forgot that I had the Wallet capability. That was really nice now that I need it in my Galaxy S8. I'm looking for exactly what I posted, I know there's apps out there like PassWallet, Pass2U, Passes that I download to see if any of them were what I'm looking for but they're not. Ideally I'd have a boarding pass come up on the homescreen without having to go into an app at all, like in Apple Wallet. These apps require to unlock, go into the app, find the pass or ticket and go from there. Is there another option altogether that bypasses this "hassle"? These apps also require that you put in all the passes/reservations/tickets by hand and they don't allow an option for you to go into your email, for example, and export them out to the app. I guess what I'm really trying to find in one of these apps or a native to the OS app is to avoid taking the time to unlock phone, open up app, searching, importing it, etc.. I'd like it to be there on homescreen before unlocking even and it to be smart.
So I am a returning droid user, that was an apple user for 6 years.
When I had my iphone, I could add debit/credit cards, plane tickets, membership cards, and insurance cards to my apple wallet and access them from the lock screen without unlocking my device.
A use case for this is that I have Geiko insurance, and they only have digital cards now... At least I've only used their digital cards the past few years. I got pulled over last week for a break light out, and the cop asked for my insurance card - so I had to log into my app to show him I had one. Now he didn't ask to take my driver's license AND my insurance card to his car like previous cops have, just my ID; but if he had it would have been my unlocked phone. Not that I have anything to hide, but this is one example where having control over your phone may not be available to you. Another use case his the plane tickets example, when passing the TSA and the check in desk, it would be helpful to pull up my ticket quick, without having to navigate, and log into, the app each time.
Is there a droid equivalent to the Apple wallet that allows me to store things like my car insurance card, and display it, without unlocking my phone? I do not see anything of the type with Gpay, and Google pay seems to be gone. All google searches are a few years old.
I have a Samsung Galaxy A71.
Thank you for all feedback.
What about Samsung Pay? I don't know if it's available for your country. I also use Google pay but not for ticket s or anything as I don't fly. I adjusted my settings and was able to use my lock button to open Google pay by pressing the button 3 times instead of launching bixby
System Settings > Google > Settings for Google apps > Google Pay
Geico and State Farm allow saving to Google Pay. Otherwise you can use the Pass2Pay app to make your own insurance card.
There is no app that will allow you to view passes without unlocking. Even on Google Pixel, it will only let you switch between payment methods via the lock screen.
Hey everyone!
So I recently preordered the Galaxy S10+ and Im making the switch from an iPhone.
One question I have is:
Is there a wallet app similar to iphones where I can store airplane tickets, movie tickets, etc? I tend to use that quite often.
Also, if someone can recommend some nice calendar and notes app that sync with my mac somehow that would also be appreciate!
THANKS!

Across Apple Wallet, Apple Pay, Card, and Cash
I was using pixels for years yet didn't know that I can use passes made for an iPhone and Apple wallet on my Android phone.
Usually when I book flights , cinema, bus tickets there is a digital version made for apple wallet and no option for Androids. However, today I discovered apps that can read apple passes and work flawlessly. I'm pretty happy about my discovery and want to share here.
So far I can recommend two apps available on the Play Store:
WalletPasses - a basic one PassHolder - more modern look & can sync passes with your smartwatch
I hope it helps those who recently switched or just missed such an option on Android.
Hello, I need an alternative to apple wallet/pay. I have an iPhone and I do not want to use that app. (Can elaborate but prefer not to) I need to be able to sync a card up to the app and use my phone to tap to pay on my parking garage meter. The parking garage only takes tap to pay, but my work gave me a debit card that does not support tap to pay. Any advice?

I'm an old iOS user, now I choose Android. I'm looking for an app like Wallet ti manage hotel (via Booking or Airbnb) and flight reservation. Google Pay do the job?
Sorry for my english
WalletPasses works for me. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.walletpasses.android
I don't have an answer, but I search for the same 😄
Google Pay isn't like iOS Wallet app. It's for payment over NFC. You can add cards of companies and GIF cards, but it's a very simple app, you can't compare it with Wallet 😂
I want an app that's can store my boarding passes and passport photo, what app do you use?
Google used to just keep stuff like that in your feed thing. It used to be via Google Now. Not sure about passport photo, but it would automatically store your boarding pass and give you relevant information based on the details of it. From traffic to the hub to weather in the place you're visiting, and ideas while you're there. If you go to your feed, there should be a little icon at the top for a summary of such things. Not sure what it's called.
Looks like Google Pay has also picked up some features too.
I use this for my concerts tickets, take a look
Recently, I wanted to see how much I spent on a particular category of stuff or from a certain vendor over a time span.
Unless I’m missing it, I couldn’t find a way to do that.
Since Apple released new APIs to officially query Apple Card transactions, I’ve been wondering if there’s space or enough reasons to make a….companion app?….for lack of a better term, for Apple Card.
So I’m wondering - is there anything you’d want an app like this to do that you can’t do today in Wallet? Is there anything that could do that would be so useful that you’d pay for an app like this? Sky is the limit. I’d love some ideas to push me over the edge to start another app 😜
I just had a notification display for Apple Wallet apps but cannot figure out how to add any functionality to Wallet from Target, Walgreens, Dicks, Starbucks, etc. What am I missing?
