I got this Apple Watch SE from the lost and found at my work after 30 days. We are allowed to take whatever we want because the owner has now forfeited the right to that possession so is there anyway I can bypass this lock?

Found a watch at dave and busters and can’t get into it because of activation lock, but i also can’t find the email to get it back to them how can i access the watch or apple id to message the owner?

hello! i'm new with the apple ecosystem, i bought my first iphone a month ago and a couple weeks later i found a used watch on vinted that i ended up buying for a pretty good price.

the watch arrived today and when I try to connect it and pair it to my phone it says it's still linked to the previous owner's apple id.

i wrote to him and he says that he has done everything you need to do before you sell it (factory reset and delete it from your cloud devices) but somehow it still appears to be blocked and linked to his account.

is there anything i can do now? or did i just buy a completely useless watch?

i wrote to apple and sent the documentation i have from the vinted purchase and serial no., hopefully that will be enough for them to help me unblock it.

update: the guys at the apple store told me they couldn't do anything about it, and at that point it was pretty obvious to us that the seller has basically just scammed me...but you know, it's hard to admit and accept it once it's done. so yeah i wrote to vinted and opened a request to have my money back. hopefully they will accept the request, in the meanwhile i bought a NEW se 2nd gen from the store.
