Go to the watch app on your phone. Scroll down to Wallet & Apple Pay. You will see a section at the top called 'Payment cards on your watch' If you don't see any payment cards there, then you haven't added any payment cards to you watch. You can then do so by pressing 'Add card'

My AW is new... only 3 days old. I did set up Apple Pay and it seemed to work correctly. I made two purchases with it without any problem. But yesterday I tried and tried and double-clicking the side button only would bring up the dock and not Apple Pay.
Today I was out buying groceries and at the cash I realized I'd forgotten my credit cards. Luckily I had my iPhone and AW with me. But again, try and try with the AW I could not bring up Apple Pay and actually when I gave up and pulled out my iPhone, heard something like a siren coming from my watch and it had called the emergency police number. Talk about a panic! Anyway, I managed to turn that off, and using my iPhone and Apple Wallet, was able to pay for my groceries.
Now I'm at home, and try as I might, I can't bring up Apple Pay on the watch. What am I missing? Isn't it supposed to be two clicks on the side (not crown) button?
Update: Think I MIGHT have figured it out... If I click REALLY FAST (as fast as I possibly can), then it seems that Apple Pay DOES come up. But a more normal double-click only brings up the dock. Geez, I can't believe the issue was as simple as that.
I hope this helps other users new to the AW and Apple Pay.

I've never used Apple Pay on my watch. So after reading this I decided to play around and see if I could bring it up. I double click and nothing seems to happen. Do it again. Maybe again. Whatever I did ended up with my Watch making an emergency call. I quickly say it is a mistake with my watch and end up hanging up but I guess I should have stayed on the line to explain better. So far no call back or visit so I hope all is good.
Anyway, is double clicking the only way to bring up Apple Pay?

What I can tell is that when I bough the watch and double clicked the button it told me that I didnt have any card (There's no Apple Pay on Brazil). After a few days, it stoped showing up any message, just doing nothing.
