June 4, 2023Finally got my first Apple Watch (Series 8, 41mm), I have wanted one since the Series 1 was announced.
Welcome to the family! That’s a good looking watch! You’ll be best served wearing by wearing your watch just above the wrist bone (in the photo you have the band over the bone on the pinkie side of your wrist). A good gauge for this is having the watch band right next to or about 1/2” (1.5 cm) above the bone. This will get you the most accurate heart rate and other measurements while ensuring the placement of the watch doesn’t interfere with the movement of your wrist and you don’t inadvertently pushing the Digital Crown with your hand when you flex it (as if doing a push-up). Keep the watch snug against the wrist, but not tight so it causes any indentation in the sides of your wrist (it looks a touch tight on the thumb side of your wrist but that could just be the angle of the shot). December 29, 2022 - I have the same type of apple watch, only it's red. Personally, I think that looks great on you. I've read comments where the bigger sizes were too cumbersome. Some advice, if it isn't too late: don't get the GPS+cellular, unless you want to pay for another line to your carrier.
