I have heard great things about the apple earphones and would like to know if someone has anny long-term experience with them.
Do they hold up well overtime? (Since the cable look fragile to me)
Android compatibility?
Sound quality? (On Android)
Do they stay in the ear?
If it's not great what are alternatives ?
I'm using a pixel 5 and hate having to charge my earphones and apple seems to make the only reasonably priced product.
I picked up a pair of $19 USB-C Earpods from the Apple Store, and when I added some silicone wingtips to them I could not believe how much of an improvement in sound quality there was. I have always been of the opinion that Apple's Earpods have surprisingly decent audio quality provided you were willing to hold them in your ears. Adding a silicone wingtip made a world of difference to the audio quality of my Apple Music and allowed my hands to be used for important endeavors like high-fives and fist bumps. :)

I was thinking about purchasing one, so pls kindly share your thoughts about the product. And I know it's crazy that I'm asking this question in this "IEM community" but I'm just curious to know what y'all think about it.
Priorities in order:
Wired USB-C Connectivity
In ear headphones/earbuds
Durable - would love to get a minimum of 3 years of moderate use out of them.
Microphone
(Flexible, but ideally) $45 or less
They don't have to be the most incredible audio quality ever created, I'm just tired of having to constantly replace my headphones.
I primarily use my headphones for videos or music while in public, or for work meetings. I'd use them probably 3-4 times a week. I've mostly tried cheap options off Amazon, hence them breaking constantly.
I really have two questions, the first is does using a USB-C Jack adapter have an affect in the audio quality in comparison to just wired USB-C earbuds? (i don’t see why it would but just want to know 🤷♂️ )
Second, does the USB-C Jack adapter work with the 16P? (again, don’t see why it would but wanted to make sure)
Ordered both the 16P and Earbuds just now and probably should have asked this beforehand but didn’t (🤦♂️)
Thanks in advance!
Hello I would like to buy a pair of apple usb-c earpods and I was wondering if a Ugreen regular usb c male to female extension would transfer audio and mic without losing its quality. Could you please help me?
Thanks in regards.
Hey all. I bought some USB-C headphones for a ski trip I was going on, since I would much rather have a wired headset rather than wireless earbuds for playing music on the slopes.
To avoid doing the dongle thing, I decided to get a USB-C headset, and opted for Apple's they sell, over some of the other "AKG" headsets.
Has anyone experienced low relative volume using these? I'm wondering if I should have just gotten an external DAC, or a dongle to a 3.5 to avoid this trouble. Alternatively, are there better USB-C headsets I should consider? I like wired over wireless, as it's easier to deal with. Thanks.
Since everything turns USB-C, I wanted wired headphones for all those devices.
So I bought EarPods with USB-C and plugged them into my Switch.
They don’t put out audio :/ . Funny enough I can press volume up and down on the small remote on the EarPods and this input is shown on the switch.
Is there anything I can do to make it fully work?
I bought the 3.5mm version just to be stumped by Apple's its own jack standarts which don't work with the usual one(even with splitter), so I thought can I buy the type-c version and plug it with a usb to type-c adapter? Would the mic and both stereo work?
Does anyone know if the new usb-c EarPods work and are compatible with the S22?
I’m looking for good quality wired earphones with microphone. I know Bluetooth is the way to go but these are for my aged parents and I know they will never be able to figure out how to troubleshoot Bluetooth connectivity issues on their own.
Tryna buy some good pair of earphones
i was thinking about getting the airpods pro 2 but then i found that apple is gonna release the pro 3 this year and i wanna save for those and wanted to know are wired earpods worth it when i can buy bluetooth earphones from another company for the same price?? (also if i decide should i buy lightning cable or usb c? my phone is lightning cable and macbook is usb c)
Planning on getting wired earpods for my Mac use. I read some reviews that the USB-C gets read as "EarPods" on mac while the 3.5mm can't
