Hello fellow beastfeeders, I created a text- and image introductory guide to Applied Energistics 2 that some of you might find interesting. Personally, I do not like video or youtube guides very much and prefer written reference material instead. This gave me the idea to create a very in-depth introduction for beginners into Applied Energistics 2. As of now, the introduction covers 1) how to get started by finding meteors and setting up your first presses, 2) the basics of cable management, 3) storage management, and 4) automated crafting. I would very much like to hear your thoughts on the general idea, and I'd appreciate feedback on how to improve those guides further, if you have any suggestions. Thanks! More on reddit.com

What is the simplest way to "outside" craft to machines with two inputs? Like induction smelter (sand and rich slag option) or a whole bunch of GT machines (many different secondary inputs). Do you know how it balances crafting when you have two crafts competing for a common resource? Example: I have two export buses - one for quad uranium cells and one for dual uranium cells. Uranium cells are made for each one, but does it alternate which one it crafts or can i set a priority on the export bus to say fill up with dual cells first then try to make quads? More on reddit.com
