Has anyone tried Cooling blankets? Thoughts?
Has anyone tried the cooling blankets? What do you think?
Would someone kindly recommend a cool, comfortable comforter(?) that I can use during the hot summer months?
Are cooling blankets effective?

How Does Elegear Cooling Blanket Work?
Arc-chill cooling fiber is made with conductive cross-section fibers and jade particles. Jade particles: produce an endothermic reaction that absorbs energy. Conductive cross-section polyester: speeds up moisture evaporation when the body perspires. The combination can quickly absorb body heat, is good at moisture-wicking, and creates coolness and breathability.
What Does Q Max Mean in Cooling Blanket?
The Qmax value measures how fast heat moves through fabric. It tells us the most heat that can pass through one square meter of fabric in one second. Fabrics with higher Qmax values cool better because they can move more heat away from the body.

We have the unfortunate issue of our AC being broken and the last few years I have been sleeping with cold packs (Which work but are a pain).
I also have a KANTHA Quilt which is a very colorful cotton "quilt' made out of old Sari's you can get on Amazon.. for 16 bucks!. BUT this was designed specifically for cooling.

It looks really flat, so it doesn't look like it would be that comfortable. What do others think?
I have this cooling blanket that is nice, but a bit too thin and lightweight. It's decent.
I was thinking of a comforter, though, but I don't know how to find a quality one that would be cooling and reasonably priced.
Does anyone have a recommendation? I use a regular weighted blanket and another blanket during winter. I need something cool, but not super thin so I can be covered up during summer and not be really hot.
I'd appreciate any help.
